On a school trip, students and teachers are exposed to many new stimuli. Mindfulness helps to become more aware of these moments and reduces stress. It also fosters a positive group experience.






Practical Mindfulness Exercises on the Go

  • Mindful nature walks: Use the beautiful surroundings on your class trip for mindful walks with the pupils. Invite the students to walk in silence for a while and pay attention to the sounds and smells of nature.


  • Mindfulness exercises with sounds: Individual senses, such as focusing on hearing, are also perfect for practising mindfulness. Invite students to lie down comfortably for a few minutes and close their eyes. You can use sounds from the environment for this exercise, consciously create sounds (e.g. with a singing bowl or an instrument) or even play relaxing music.


  • Meditate together outdoors: Conduct short meditation sessions in nature to calm the mind and connect the group. You can of course also invite the students to lead simple meditation sessions for the whole group and get them actively involved.
